fishing for over 20 years & has a great passion for teaching
the elements
of the sport. He has traveled to Alaska,
British Columbia and throughout the western U.S. Brett also
teaches our tying classes, beginner through advanced.

Fly Fishing
University is our introduction class to Fly Fishing. It gets you
ready for our on the water classes and clinics.
(If you buy a fly fishing outfit
from us the day of your class, we'll apply the $50 dollar
class cost to your outfit purchase.)
2nd Saturday of every month.
Class Time: 9:30am - 2:30pm
Learn about where people fly fish, what species we fish for,
how much it costs to get started, the equipment we use,
knots you need to know, a great basic trout fly selection,
common fly fishing techniques, the basic mechanics of fly
casting, a little entomology (aquatic insects that fish
eat), stream etiquette and more. This IN-store class answers
all the questions that beginners usually have. Includes a
casting demo with some very basic instruction on making a
straight line cast. |
