We're fortunate enough to have Brett Drury on board as part of the Fly Fishing Specialties team. Brett is our Fly Tying/Fly Fishing University Instructor.
Brett is the best tying instructor hands down in the Sacramento area. Brett has instructed hundreds of fly fishers in the fine art of fly tying. He has spent many late night hours at the vise as a commercial tier.
Brett's beginning class takes place on three consecutive Tuesday nights from 6:30 to whenever. Session #1 is streamers and wooly buggers, Session n#2 is nymphs...covering the popular Hares Ear and Pheasant Tail nymphs. For the last session Brett will teach you the techniques for tying Elk Hair Caddis and Adam dry flies.
