Pit Tech Notes:
 
High stick tight line nymphing is a key to success on the pit.  keeping  a high rod, tight AND short line should see good numbers of fish coming to your flies. Dark Flies work well on this river.

Flows are up there. Nymph the edges with dark flies and work buggers with a sink-tip to locate fish.

McCLOUD Tech Notes:

With a lot of high stick nymphing going on, you may want to consider a longer rod.  The Greys Streamflex rod in a 10' 5 weight is perfect for this type of fishing.
