PUTAH CREEK
A great winter tail-water fishery located near the San Francisco Bay Area. The flows below Monticello Dam are home to big shouldered Rainbows and huge Browns.
The fall through spring seasons are truly the prime time to hit Putah Creek. Flows are low and the fishing is fantastic. Rick Fox has been fishing Putah Creek since the early seventies. He knows the waters as well as anyone around.

YUBA RIVER
A great native Steelhead/Salmon and wild trout fishery.
The Jan/Feb dates should coincide with some great Skwala stonefly action on the surface! This is another "home" fishery for Rick Fox and he knows the waters and hatches well. His Skawla dry and nymph imitations score big-time here. Rick will show you how to target this fishery and how to fish it effectively with nymphs and dries.
