Rachel's Bio

Rachel is more than an expert in every aspect of flyfishing; she is a dedicated, meticulous fishing travel professional who loves people as much as she loves fish.

For over a decade, Rachels love of fly fishing has taken her to fish all over the world. The Bahamas, Venezuela, Mexico, Tahiti, Cuba, Russia, Chile, Argentina, and Alaska have given her the experiences and tools to understand what we desire as anglers. When she is not fishing with her passport, Rachel enjoys fishing and guiding Northern California local waters rich in trout and steelhead.

As a Federation of Flyfishers Certified Casting Instructor, Rachel taught for the Mel Krieger Schools and was the director of FISHCAMP, a family and childrens Flyfishing summer camp, for 7 years. She has also been a guest instructor at the International Womens Flyfishing Festival in San Diego and North California FFF Conclave in 2004. As the founding member of the Shasta Mayflies (Reddings Womens Flyfishing Club), Rachel is involved in the community teaching fly tying and casting clinics. She has been published in Northwest Flyfishing and The Womens No-Nonsense Guide to Favorite Waters

These days, Rachel can be found teaching clinics and giving presentations at fly fishing club meetings and sports shows in the west.
