Eagle Lake Fishing Report – Late Fall
Fishing at Eagle Lake is in excellent form and continues to improve as we move toward the end of Fall. Anglers are seeing consistent action across a variety of techniques.
The top approach has been using an indicator setup with a #10 olive or rust balanced leech and a #14–16 black midgeat around 16 feet. Close behind in effectiveness is stripping a #10 burnt orange, olive, or rust wiggle tail on a floating line with a 12-foot leader.
Weather is turning colder, with snow on the ground, so be sure to check road conditions before heading out. The cooler temperatures are actually a boost for the fish, and activity is expected to remain strong as we head into the winter months.
Eagle Lake is shaping up for a fantastic late-fall and winter fishing season—now is a great time to get out on the water.
