Fishing report : The water is beginning to cool & Winter Striper fishing is setting in. The name of the game is finding the fish & getting them to bite when they are on the feed. Hard to beat 3/0 Steve Adachi Rattle Clousers in Surf Brown, Joker or Classic Chartreuse. Had the pleasure of fishing with Steve Adachi last week & he did not disappoint, Steve managed to hook a Striper on his first cast! Great to get on the water with the man, the myth, the legend Mr Steve Adachi of the Adachi Clouser!
Guide Tip : Winter Striper fishing is all about finding the fish & getting them to bite. Move around a lot, vary your aggressive strips make sure to pause a few seconds between strips every once in a while. When the water cools the long pause between strips can be crucial!
