Flows through the Low Flow settled down to 1,000 CFS. Flows in the High Flow settled down to 6,000 CFS. Despite the decrease in flows last week, the Lower Feather River has been fishing well and consistent with 12 to 16 hookups each trip, and approximately 8 to the net. We have seen a lot of fresh fish move into the system, both adults and pods of half pounders. A little of everything has been producing fish. Micro Spawn – Oregon Cheese (#12) in the morning, with red gummy worm (#14) or Pheasant tail (#14/16). In the afternoon Peaches and Cream (#16) with a Cinnamon Fox Pupa (#14) or Natural Birds Nest (#14/16) have been productive. Due to the flows We have been mostly on indicator. However, we did find a few places we were able to tight line and found a few willing participants. With the drop in flows, swinging is going to be a good option as well.
